HIRE RATES & CONDITIONS
All rates are in Australian Dollars (AUD)
Rates are inclusive of GST and Unlimited Kilometres
The Camper is also fully equipped with: bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, various storage & mixing containers, powercord, bucket, hose, dustpan & brush etc.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Rentals are subject to the terms and conditions printed on the Rental Agreement.
DEPOSIT: To confirm reservations please pay an advance deposit of 10% of the hire charge (minimum deposit $500).
The full amount due for the rental period booked is payable prior to the commencement
of the rental by cash, direct deposit into Luxury Campers bank account or major credit cards. Payment by credit card will incur a 3.46% surcharge charged by the bank.
Personal cheques are not acceptable unless received by us 14 days prior to departure.
INSURANCE: The insurance covers damage to the vehicle or to the property of the
third party in the event of a reportable accident (except for the exclusions below).
The hirer is required to choose either Option 1 or Option 2 insurance.
The excess applies to each claim not the rental.
Option 1: $20 per day (max $1,000) Excess = $2,000.
The Hirer is responsible for the first $2,000 of any accident cost including single vehicle accident and/or damage to third party vehicle/property.
Option 2: $40 per day (max $2,000) Excess = $0.
The hirer doesn't pay any excess for an accident including single vehicle accident and/or damage to third party vehicle/property.
EXCLUSIONS: The Insurance Cover is not extended to:
- Damage to the undercarriage or overhead of the vehicle & camper not attributable to a reportable accident.
- Damage to the windscreen and window not attributable to a reportable accident.
- Damage to the tyres and wheels not attributable to normal wear & tear.
- Damage to the Interior of camper & vehicle not attributable to normal wear & tear.
- Damage caused by water submersion or salt water.
- Damaged caused in circumstances where the terms of the contract are breached.
- Damage caused by wilful conduct (e.g.sitting or standing on bonnet or roof of vehicle).
- Damage caused by the incorrect use of fuel.
- Cost of retrieving or recovering the vehicle if bogged.
- Cost of replacing keys which have been lost or retrieval of keys locked in the vehicle.
- Personal belongings, personal insurance is recommended.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit of $2,000 is payable by cash, travellers cheques or credit card
when the vehicle is picked up. Credit card payments will be authorised showing as a commitment but will not be banked.
The security deposit is fully refunded if the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged and
with fuel and LP gas tanks full. If the vehicle is not in a clean condition and free of mud
a $150 cleaning fee will be retained. If the diesel tanks and LPG bottles are not full refill charges will be retained.
INFRINGEMENTS: The hirer will be charged for any speeding or parking fines, associated administration costs
and/or accidents including third party property damage not reported on return of the vehicle.
DRIVERS LICENCES & AGE QUALIFICATIONS: Luxury Campers recognises all the current Non-provisional Australian Licensees.
Overseas visitors may use recognised current licences issued by their country of residence or an international driver's permit.
Luxury Campers does not rent to drivers under 25 years of age.
CREDIT & CREDIT CARDS: Luxury Campers welcomes Mastercard & Visacard however a surcharge of 3.46% (Bank Fees) will apply to all credit card payments.
LIMITATIONS OF USE: It is a condition of the Rental Agreement that vehicles cannot be driven in certain areas of Australia.
The F250 Campers can be driven on recognised unsealed tracks. They may only travel to the Gibb River Road with the written permission of Luxury Campers.
Permission given subject to weather & road conditions. Luxury Campers vehicles are not permitted on the
Canning Stock Route, the Bungle Bungles, Cape York, Simpson Dessert, Gunbarrel Highway, Strzelecki Track,
Oodnadatta Track, Birdsville Track, Tanami Track, the Lost City in Litchfield Park,
the Telegraph Road section of the road to Cape York or on ANY beaches.
DIESEL FUEL: Luxury Campers reminds you that the cost of diesel fuel is not included in our rates.
AVAILABILITY: Should circumstances beyond our control cause the required vehicle to be unavailable, our liability is limited to the return of all monies paid.
COLLECTION & RETURN: Vehicles must be collected from and returned to our office during office hours.
ONE-WAY RENTALS: By negotiation.
CANCELLATIONS & EARLY RETURNS: Deposits paid for advanced bookings are liable to be forfeited unless notice is given at least 30 days in advance, or the period can be rebooked. No refund or unused rental is allowable if the vehicle is returned prematurely.
LATE RETURNS: Should the vehicle be required for additional time, permission must be granted at least 7 days prior. Unauthorised late returns are charged at double the daily rate applicable.
